Originating from the Hungarian town of Kalocsai, this is an authentic, revered paprika variety. Plants will grow 24’’-36’’ high and produce high yields of peppers, that will mature from green to red. There is a bit of variation of fruit shape and heat within this heirloom strain. Fruits are sweet and bring mild, well rounded spice. Harvest peppers, dry or smoke, then pulse in a blender for homemade, amazing paprika seasoning! Remove seeds first for highest quality paprika seasoning.
