Red Russian Kale is a favorite here on the farm. It can be harvested as a baby leaf green or when the leaves are larger. Both option offer up sweet, nutritiously dense green for Spring and Fall. Broad green leaves have purple stems and veining. Start in the green house 3-4 week before transplanting out when soil warms.
